  We have been going to The Seven Stars for years and the food and atmosphere has always been 5 star. I'm afraid to say that this has all changed - the last two times we have been the food has been average and with not so many customers as there used to be the atmosphere has changed. Today I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich - the cheese wasn't even melted and unfortunately it had to go back. My husbands was the same but he chose to eat it. Sorry Seven Stars but we won't be rushing back - such a shame as it used to be a dead cert for good food.

  We had a drink and a veggie platter to share between 2 of us and were not expecting much. However it was great tasting and very filling, especially after we asked for more bread which was gladly and freely provided.

  We sat in the bar area for a meal and had the fish and chips. Portions were quite generous albeit pricey. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return again.
